POSTGAME QUOTES
HEAD COACH GREG MOORE
On today’s game:
Manitoba is a very structured team. They’re really tough to get inside of, especially in their D-zone through the middle of the rink. For the most part through the first half of the game, we just played slow in transition and we weren’t able to get past their structure. We allowed them the time and space to recover and get into their spots. As the game went on, we got stronger. We found our game there towards the end, just a little too late at that point. It was a tough battle today.
On the team’s performance through the road trip:
It’s been a great road trip. It’s been a great month. Our team has done a lot of positive things this month. It’s that time of the year where it could wear on you and the players are really stepping up. To cap off this month with a strong road trip like this, it will hopefully carry us into February.
