POSTGAME QUOTES
HEAD COACH GREG MOORE
On tonight’s game:
It’s a long trip and they’re a great hockey team, one of the better teams we’ve seen all season. They’ve played us really hard back at home. They were flying yesterday. To come out today and have a little bit more control with how we were approaching our tactics against them, I thought it was a great response and adjustments by our group.
On Erik Källgren:
You could tell there was a more confident Erik Källgren in net today. Just his movement and his presence. He made some big saves towards the end there, kicked out two in the third to keep us alive. You need that to help teams win games and he gave us that.
GRAHAM SLAGGERT (1 ASSIST)
On Marc Johnstone:
He’s an absolute warrior. He always puts the team first. We knew he was going to have a big impact. He went back to his college days with the bubble on. He was awesome out there. He did every little thing right, working as hard as he could and it obviously paid off tonight.
On tonight’s game:
Yesterday wasn’t what we wanted but today we came back and really drove the pace of play. Did a lot of good things by getting the pucks in deep, getting pucks behind the D and force them to go back towards their net.
