POSTGAME QUOTES

HEAD COACH GREG MOORE

On today’s game:
We talked about it before the game, our starts lately, going down two early puts us in a real tough spot, especially against a team that’s one of the better teams in the American League. When you get to a position where you’re just chasing it by getting down early, the feel of the game never really feels right, and it makes it hard for us to find our footing and play the full 60 that we want. I do feel as though the team had push back. We kept chipping away and finding ways to regain momentum and we felt good going into the third that it was a one-goal game at the time and our chances to get back in.

LOGAN SHAW (1 GOAL)

On the team’s recent games:
It’s tough. Every team goes through it. It sucks that it’s late in the year but it’s better to happen now then in a month’s time. For (the leadership group), it’s to lead by example as the older guys and try to get this thing back on track. Just make sure we’re ready every night. All we can do right now is just work as hard as we can and once they start coming, it’s going to come and for us right now, it’s just make sure we stay in it mentally and not try to get discouraged from the results. Some of these games, we’re not playing the best but I can never say anything bad about our work ethic.
