The Toronto Marlies fell 7-3 to the Milwaukee Admirals on Wednesday afternoon. Toronto is now 5-3-2-0.
In the first period, both teams exchanged chances, but neither team were able to breakthrough.
In the second, Milwaukee scored three goals in 1:35 to take a quick 3-0 lead. Later in the frame, the Admirals extended their lead to four, before Nick Abruzzese got one back for the visitors on the power play.
In the third, Joseph Blandisi and Kieffer Bellows scored to bring Toronto within one, but it wasn’t enough. Milwaukee added three more goals in the final frame to secure a 7-3 victory.
Toronto returns to action on Friday when they visit the Grand Rapids Griffins for two straight games. Puck drop is at 7:00pm on AHLTV.
