Canadian Armed Forces Appreciation Day

This Sunday, the Marlies will once again be saluting our troops by hosting their annual Canadian Armed Forces Appreciation on March 2nd versus the Lake Erie Monsters. Over 300 troops will be attending the game along with their families as the Marlies honour the men and women of our armed forces. Following the game, the troops will be invited onto the ice to take a group photo with the Marlies.

The Marlies will be also be wearing limited edition camo jerseys during the game. Fans will have the chance to bid on these game-worn jerseys on the day of the game, as well as at the following Sunday’s game on March 9th against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins. Proceeds will benefit the Soldier On Fund through the MLSE Foundation.

Don’t forget to pick up your Marlies camo jersey at Real Sports Apparel and the Team Shop Powered by Real Sports at Ricoh Coliseum. 20% of all gross sales will be going to the Military Families Fund.

The first 3000 fans in attendance will also be receiving a Jerry D’Amigo boblehead. Thanks to votes from our fans, Jerry was the lucky winner of our bobblehead poll! Puck drop is at 3pm, so make sure you get down here early.

Join us for Canadian Armed Forces Appreciation on Sunday, March 2nd.
